Here is a small list of some of the gear that I have used to make my travel videos. My absolute favorites are the rode videoMic for it's ability to pickup dialogue really clearly without having to shout into it and my old time pal the zoom H1 Handy which I adore for attaching to my gopro hero black for superb audio in a compact form factor.
